EphMRA Webinar from the LDC: The Why and How of using Stories in Presentations
March 18, 2021 @ 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm
Speaker: Rachel Maunder
Convenor: Janneke van den Bent, SKIM and LDC member
Stories are such a powerful way of engaging your audience in a way that facts and figures along can never do.
While facts and figures engage the logical side of the brain, stories engage our emotions – and that’s where engagement lies. When you learn how to really engage your audience they are much more likely to follow the course of action you’re aiming for, ultimately bringing you more business.
In this short session, Rachel Maunder will explain the importance of using stories in talks and presentations, show you how they can bring your presentations to life and share some tips and tools on how to do this.
Which stories to tell? Where to start? Join Rachel to find out.
